Dear all

At next Monday's rehearsal, we will be studying the Sanctus and Agnus Dei from Durufle's Requiem, the Rossini and Stravinsky motets and Steven's Thine Enchantment.

The livestream link is: https://www.youtube.com/live/WE7aIaTTFpU.

I have heard from SARA and they have asked me to send their thanks for the donation received (£80) from the Gables for the Afternoon Tea and Carols in December.  (TCS has also received £80.)  They say:

Thank you so much for your donations.  All members of the Severn Area Rescue Association are volunteers and, with no staff salaries to pay, we are proud that all donations we receive go directly to provide the equipment we need to keep our Search and Rescue service going or to help meet our ever-increasing operating costs.  We rely almost entirely on donations from within our local communities and we are so grateful that you have chosen to support us.

Please let all the members of Thornbury Choral Society know how much we appreciate their generosity.

Alison asks me to say:
  • Lizzie Walters has kindly offered Frank's music scores to TCS members.  Su will bring them on Monday.
  • Please sign up online or see Annis Clarke for the TCS Workshop (1/3/25) and if you can please add your name to bring a salad or dessert to the list on the signing-in table.  Thank you.
Jos asks me to say that there is an SCBSG bus list for the Big Sing Workshop on 26 April on the signing-in table on Monday nights as well.

Don't forget Steven's piano recital this Saturday night at Bristol Music Club.  Details are here: www.stevenkings,co.uk.

Best wishes,
Mike Elcock
