Dear all

What a good turnout on Monday for carols!  As Kate said, we have asked the Gables if a few more can come this year as we are so keen!  They have agreed to this.  They have offered tea and coffee for us afterwards as last year.

Also as Kate mentioned, we have been asked to meet at 2pm for a 2.30pm start this year (Thursday 19 December) as their afternoon tea starts at 1pm!  They will be paying us a donation to be split between TCS and our charity this year which is Severn Area Rescue Association https://www.sara-rescue.org.uk/.  I have asked them to consider increasing their donation this year, and they are thinking about this.

In order for the guests to join in we need to use the carols on the Bethlehem carol sheets which Kate will give them.  The list of carols is attached with the Green Carols for Choirs page numbers plus the extra sheets.  This includes the Boar's Head carol now which had somehow dropped off the bottom of the list.  Please bring your green Carols for Choirs book if you have one and print off the extra sheets.  The extra sheets can be downloaded from our repertoire page here: https://www.thornburychoralsociety.org.uk/dbpage.php?pg=learning&repgroup=Status.  Some of you have noticed that there are some carols missing.  If we do sing those, we will use the Bethlehem carol sheets.

We will meet again next Monday from 8-9.30pm at the URC for another rehearsal before we go to the Gables.  You are welcome whether or not you are singing at the Gables.  As before, we will be wearing suitable Christmas attire on Thursday!
