Dear all
First of all, thank you all for a splendid Social evening last night. Special thanks go to Angela who organised it and to those who helped in all sorts of ways. I think everyone who was there will agree that it was most enjoyable.
Regarding the concert, in case you were wondering, there were 167 people in the audience. I think this might be the largest since Covid. I think thanks are due to Angela again for her work on publicity! We took £2,350.
We are singing carols at the Gables, Falfield on Thursday 19 December. I have written to them for confirmation of timings and numbers. If it is the same as last year, we meet just before 3pm and will sing for about an hour to the guests who will be finishing their "Afternoon Tea". They will probably fit in up to 30 of us and I have asked them to provide a cup of tea for us afterwards, as last year. They will be paying us a donation to be split between TCS and our charity this year which is Severn Area Rescue Association
https://www.sara-rescue.org.uk/.
Kate, who will be conducting us, says the following:
Many of you will have the carol sheets from last year. In order for the guests to join in we need to use the carols on the Bethlehem carol sheets which I will give them. To make it easier I have listed the carols (see attached) according to the
Green Carols for Choirs plus the extra sheets
. Please bring your green Carols for Choirs books if you have one and print off the extra sheets. The extra sheets can be downloaded from our repertoire page here:

Everyone is welcome to join us at the URC the next two Mondays from 8-9.30pm for rehearsals, whether or or not you can sing at the Gables.
Best wishes,
Mike Elcock
